CTV Regina has Southern Saskatchewan’s most-watched local news

Today’s BBM Canada Spring 2010 audience report declared CTV NEWS AT SIX with Manfred Joehnck and Carla Beynon as Southern Saskatchewan’s most-watched news program with 89,200 viewers among viewers age 2+.

CTV NEWS AT SIX has almost five times as many viewers at 6 p.m. than all other local evening newscasts combined.

Further results confirm CTV Regina has all ten of Southern Saskatchewan’s Top 10 programs in prime time. With more than 105,000 viewers for each episode, CSI was the #1 program broadcast by Southern Saskatchewan stations. Other CTV blockbusters in the Top 10 include: CRIMINAL MINDS, AMERICAN IDOL (PERFORMANCE), TWO & A HALF MEN, CSI: MIAMI, AMAZING RACE, AMERICAN IDOL (RESULTS), HICCUPS, AND UNDERCOVER BOSS.

CTV Regina’s noon-hour newscast had 46,300 viewers and the CTV WEEKEND NEWS continued strong with 34,700 viewers.
