The sitcom star has been in negotiations with American TV giants CBS and Warner Bros. over his involvement in the show for the past few months but reports today have confirmed the actor is staying with the show.

Sheen’s publicist released this statement regarding the deal: “To put a fitting end on the two and one-half months of whirlwind speculation, I’m looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights. I want to thank (CBS Corp. president and CEO) Les Moonves for his support.”
