Singing sensation Nikki Yanofsky drops by MuchOnDemand

She was the voice of the nation during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games with her anthem “I Believe” and now Nikki Yanofsky is coming to MUCHONDEMAND to talk about her whirlwind year.

On Wednesday April, 21 at 5 p.m. ET, the 16 year-old singing sensation heads to MuchMusic’s Queen St. headquarters for a live interview. Nikki sits down with VJ Jesse Giddings to talk about what it was like singing to the world at the Olympic Games, lending her voice to the Haiti relief efforts on K’naan’s “Wavin’ Flag” and the upcoming release of her first studio album Nikki.

Viewers can also catch Nikki when she hosts THE DAILY FIX on Friday, April 30th at 7 p.m. ET on MuchMore.

As always, viewers are at the centre of the action at MuchMusic, whether in the live audience or from home by asking questions via text, phone, e-mail, and webcam.

Nikki made her musical debut at the 2006 Montreal International Jazz Festival, but rocketed to superstardom when she was chosen to sing “I Believe” at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games. Recently, Nikki joined fellow Canadian artists in recording K’Naan’s “Wavin’ Flag” for Young Artists for Haiti. Nikki’s first studio album, Nikki, will be released this week, followed by an international tour across Canada, the US, the UK, Japan and Europe.
