CTV confirms presenters for The 2010 Juno Awards

CTV and The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) confirmed today the final names completing the biggest lineup of special guests ever for THE JUNO AWARDS. Joining the two-hour broadcast airing this Sunday, April 18 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV are multiple JUNO Award-winner Deadmau5; pop rockers Hedley; and Newfoundland and Labrador natives Damhnait Doyle, Great Big Sea, and Kim Stockwood (visit junos.ctv.ca to confirm local broadcast times).  Doyle and Stockwood will host the “JUNOS on George” outdoor segments to be featured in the broadcast on CTV.

In all, nearly 30 stars are confirmed to present and make special appearances during the two-hour show, from both the Mile One Centre stage and – a JUNO first – an outdoor location on legendary George Street in St. John’s. THE 2010 JUNO AWARDS, Canada’s Music Awards, airs Sunday, April 18 on CTV for the second time from the Mile One Centre in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. It is the ninth year in a row that THE JUNO AWARDS will air on CTV, the Official Broadcast Partner of the JUNO Awards.
