CBC offering Stanley Cup Playoffs games live on your iPhone

CBC today announced it is making the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs available to hockey fans
wherever and whenever they want via the Hockey Night in Canada app available on the App
Store. The App will offer iPhone and iPod Touch users live streaming of every CBC game
broadcast from the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Since launching in the fall of 2009, the Hockey Night in Canada app has been installed by more
than a quarter of a million iPhone and iPod Touch users. The updated version of the app includes new video capabilities, player search functions and a redesigned schedule page. The app will continue to offer all of the current features for free (including instant access to live box scores, statistics and results from all NHL games), and the premium video offerings for the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs will be available for In App Purchase.

There will be a number of streaming video price options available to users. Single game live
streams will be available individually for $2.99, Stanley Cup Final games will be available for
$4.99 or users will be able to purchase access to all of CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada 2010
Stanley Cup Playoff broadcasts for $14.99.
