MuchOriginal Series Disband Introduces Fans To 13 New Bands

MuchMusic announced today the 13 young artists who have been dealt the chance of their musical lifetime. Season 2 of DISBAND gives young artists valuable advice on their music, image, and overall abilities to raise their profile, get them noticed and make it in the music industry. Beginning today, viewers can catch the sneak peak audition episode at muchmusic.com and on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. ET on MuchMusic. DISBAND Season 2 premieres Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. ET.

The first season proved a tremendous success with audiences and bands alike, launching the careers of two groups – Stereos and Dean Lickyer – who both signed major label record deals. Now, these 13 new bands vie for industry attention and the chance to get signed.

MuchOriginal series DISBAND helps develop young, struggling Canadian bands by providing them music industry exposure with honest critique. Artists from across the country are put through a one week rock star boot camp with DISBAND Guru Greig Nori followed by the biggest performance of their lives in front of the country’s music industry elite. After they take the stage, the artist is told whether they have what it takes to be in the music biz or if they should DISBAND.
