MTV is hooking up haute couture for Free The Children. Extending CTV’s ongoing commitment to Free The Children, THE HILLS AFTER SHOW host Jessi Cruickshank and HILLS friends Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port and Lo Bosworth are auctioning off their designer and vintage gowns for THIS IS MY DRESS, in support of the international children’s charity. Starting Tuesday, Nov. 10 the campaign sees each dress available in an open auction bid on eBay.ca with all funds going toward to building a school in Kenya through Free The Children’s Adopt A Village program.

Jessi first committed herself to supporting Free The Children as a 12-year-old, after joining a Youth in Action Group at her school. Now the charismatic AFTER SHOW host continues her efforts as an ambassador for Free The Children. Jessi enlisted the help of her HILLS celebrity pals in support of Free The Children’s school-building projects just before travelling to Kenya to shoot an MTV documentary on behalf of the organization.

This week two different news outlets gave varying reports about what we can expect from new Seattle Grace Doctor Jackson Avery, transplant from Mercy West. While E! Online, in an interview with the actor reported that it’s all medicine for the latest heartthrob, TV Guide reports that we can expect that things will be shaken up with him and Cristina.

E! Online’s take:

Q: I can’t believe Izzie left Alex on Grey’s Anatomy! Will they get back together soon?

A: All we can say is that Izzie will be back soon. Katherine Heigl is back on the set of Grey’s Anatomy this week, along with fellow new mom and cast member Ellen Pompeo.

But no promises about an Alex-Izzie reunion.

I mean, if you were Alex, you’d be pretty pissed at Izzie right about now, wouldn’t you? Hmmm, maybe Sarah Drew should move in for the kill (if she didn’t get fired, that is).

Q: That new doctor from Mercy West with the green eyes on Grey’s Anatomy is so hot. Is he going to have a Seattle Grace romance any time soon?

A: Dr. “Beautiful Green Eyes” is still on the market, Jesse Williams himself dished. “Jackson’s about working and just kind of being really effective and not being involved in the business of ‘he said, she said’ and backstories and stuff,” the Grey’sAnatomy addition said.

However, he is quick to add: “But who are we kidding? It’s Grey’s Anatomy. I’m sure there is something around the corner. I’m just waiting to hear.”

TV Guide’s take:

Q: Any news on what’s ahead for Cristina and Owen on Grey’s Anatomy? I really like them together and don’t want Kim Raver’s character to break this couple up.

A: Sorry, Lisa, but Raver’s Teddy is definitely going to be an obstacle to Crowen. What might surprise you, though, is that Teddy won’t be the first bump in the road.

Word is sparks are going to fly between Yang and new Mercy West doc Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) in the November 5 episode, a week before Teddy scrubs in.

When a young couple is found murdered in the back of a padlocked truck, Detectives Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Chris Meloni) investigate the scene and link the male victim to a dangerous Mexican drug cartel. Porter tries to take over the investigation, but suspicion arises and the two continue the hunt for the murderer.

North America’s most popular stand-up comedian Jeff Dunham, and his posse of suitcase sidekicks find a home on THE JEFF DUNHAM SHOW. Premiering exclusively on The Comedy Network Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, this half-hour, comedy-reality series brings Dunham’s popular puppet creations from the big stage to the small screen. Give a hand to Walter the grumpy retiree; the resolutely redneck Bubba J; the furry and manic Peanut; the hot-headed Jose Jalapeño; and the bumbling skeleton Achmed the Dead Terrorist. Additional viewings of Jeff and his puppet pals are available Saturday nights at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, and on-demand at thecomedynetwork.ca.

THE JEFF DUNHAM SHOW takes his act and characters in front of a live studio audience as well as placing them in real world scenarios. When his not-so-dummy crew hit the streets, they banter, quip and interact so well with audiences they often forget that the Jeff has a “hand” in them. Sometimes, the characters get “out-of-hand,” as when Walter and Jeff visit a psychologist, Bubba J takes aim at a rifle range and Achmed attempts to sign up new recruits.

As the third-highest-earning comedian in North America – behind Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock – Dunham and his cast of characters have amassed legions of loyal fans across the globe. Dunham’s popularity exploded with the introduction of Achmed the Dead Terrorist, a character he debuted in 2007 on his special, SPARK OF INSANITY. Achmed, a bigheaded skeleton, is a failed suicide bomber who had a premature detonation and has not yet come to terms with his demise. Since then, Dunham’s act has been viewed more than 360 million times on YouTube, and his DVD sales have sold more than four million copies. 2008’s VERY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS SPECIAL featuring Achmed, was one of the highest rated stand-up specials to air on The Comedy Network with more than 170,000 viewers tuning in. Repeat airings drew audiences of 156,000 and 122,000 A18-49. *

Time Magazine calls him “the most popular stand-up comedian in the U.S.” Jay Leno says, “Jeff Dunham really is the best there is.” David Letterman sings his praises, “Tremendous talent, great star!” Testimony that though he may be surrounded by them, Jeff Dunham ain’t no dummy.
