CTV Monday 28th October Viewer Ratings

CTV’s powerhouse combination of DANCING WITH THE STARS and CSI: MIAMI delivered an average of 2.38 million viewers in every minute during prime time (8-11p) last night, 24% more than its closest competitor, Global (1.93 million/HOUSE, LIE TO ME, HEROES).

Leading the way from 8-10 p.m. with an average audience of 2.3 million viewers, CTV’s DANCING WITH THE STARS performance episode waltzed its way to #1 nationally and in Toronto in the 9 p.m. hour, charting 2.4 million viewers on CTV. In its second hour, it eclipsed premieres of timeslot competitors LIE TO ME (Global/1.9 million) and TRAUMA (Citytv, 598,000). Maintaining its loyal following and gaining new dance crazed fans, DANCING WITH THE STARS surged 19% from last week’s episode.

CSI: MIAMI followed at 10 p.m., delivering 2.6 million total viewers and securing the #1 spot for the hour in all markets and key demos, surpassing HEROES (Global, 661,000) and THE JAY LENO SHOW (Citytv, 397,000).

On /A\ the laughs continue to grow with TWO AND A HALF MEN delivering 1.07 million viewers at 9 p.m. followed by THE BIG BANG THEORY at 9:30 p.m. with 991,000 viewers. Both episodes were up 11% in total viewers from last week’s season premieres.
