Parks and Recreation Season 2 and Community Premieres on Citytv

Thursday nights just got funnier with the return of Amy Poehler in season 2 of Parks and Recreation and the new series premiere of the clever half-hour comedy Community.  The fun starts September 17, only on Citytv.

This week on Parks and Recreation:

Parks and Recreation – 8:30PM ET/PT (9:30PM MT, 7:30PM CT)

Parks and Recreation a mockumentary style comedy that follows Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), a mid level bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation department in Pawnee Indiana.  In the season premiere episode Leslie decides to marry two penguins to promote the local zoo inadvertently causing an uproar when both penguins turn out to be male. Meanwhile, Mark (Paul Schneider) puts Ann (Rashida Jones) in an awkward situation when he asks her to go see a movie. Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza and Chris Pratt also star.

When the legitimacy of his college degree is challenged, lawyer Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) must return to school where he finds himself leading a misfit coalition of fellow community college students. The study group consists of Pierce (Chevy Chase) a man whose life experience has brought him infinite wisdom; Britta (Gillian Jacobs) a 28-year old drop out with something to prove; Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) a sassy middle-aged divorcée; Abed (Danny Pudi) a pop culture junkie; Annie (Alison Brie) a high-strung perfectionist; Troy (Donald Glover) a former high school football star and Spanish professor, Señor Chang (Ken Jeong).
