I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt Can't Get Enough of Reality TV

As filming for yet another Hills season draws to a close, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt just can’t get enough publicity so they are joining a new reality series set to air on NBC called “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here”. The format of the new show will be one all TV fans will be well familiar with, since D-list celebrities will be forced to live off the land and earn luxuries through challenges, just like Survivor. The new US series follows in the footsteps of the popular UK version of the show, and this series which starts in June will feature Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt of course; as well as Sanjaya (think American Idol), Torrie Wilson, Steven Baldwin, Janice Dickinson and John Salley.

No word yet if a Canadian television station will be picking up I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here for those that don’t receive NBC’s programming, but we’ll keep you posted.

From a Press Release:
