Ben Stiller Receives MTV Generation Award

MTV in New York announced this morning that the 2009 MTV MOVIE AWARDS will pay tribute to funny man Ben Stiller with the coveted MTV Generation Award. Audiences fell in laugher with Stiller’s side-splitting antics in Reality Bites, There’s Something About Mary, Zoolander, Tropic Thunder and most recently in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. Viewers in Canada can join in on the hilarity at home as the 2009 MTV MOVIE AWARDS, hosted by Andy Samberg, air Sunday, May 31 at 9 p.m. ET on MTV in Canada.

Past recipients include Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, Tom Cruise and Jim Carrey.
