Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira) finds Lynette (Felicity Huffman) in a precarious position, which she chooses to hide from Tom (Doug Savant). Gaby (Eva Longoria) hastily covers for Tom’s coy behavior while Orson (Kyle MacLachlan) tries to hide the truth about his wounds from Bree (Marcia Cross). Katherine (Dana Delany) confesses to Mike (James Denton), which leads to a surprising realization and Susan (Teri Hatcher) confides her dark secret in Dave (Neal McDonough).

Miracle decides to celebrate spring by distributing flowers to the staff, but fails to realize that she is actually giving out hemlock, which ultimately puts Andrew in a coma. This, along with Larry’s pragmatism, causes Miracle to lose her spirituality, but Larry ends up trying to get her to regain her faith nonetheless. Meanwhile, the school’s fundraiser is put in danger due to Helen’s grudge against Sue.

With the space blockade around Ryloth destroyed, Mace Windu attempts to land Republic troops on the surface when they are repelled by a powerful droid cannon. Obi-Wan Kenobi leads a small clone force into a droid occupied town to sabotage the guns. Obi-Wan’s mission is complicated when he learns the town’s inhabitants are being used as human shields. A pair of Clones in his platoon forge an unlikely friendship with a refugee Twi’lek girl, Numa, who’s been orphaned by the war. Through their relationship with her, the Clones begin to understand the human cost of the war, and help Obi-Wan destroy the droid cannon to open the way for invasion.
