TORONTO, March 30, 2009– She’s got a new husband, a new green card, and a brand new agent… Canadian TV personality Carla Collins is back with a Canwest Original Production, Carlawood. The hilarious new half-hour documentary series follows Carla as she chases her dream of making it big in Hollywood.

Now Carla’s ready to do everything and anything to get noticed.

Premiering Sunday, April 19 – 9 pm ET/PTon TVtropolis, Carlawood documents Carla’s life in Hollywood as she hits the audition circuit, performs at comedy clubs throughout L.A. and attends celebrity-filled parties. With husband Tyrone Power, Jr. (son of Hollywood royalty) in tow, Carla tries to navigate the eccentric and often surreal world.
