Will George Clooney Scrub into ER

Thursday, March 12 at 10:00pm on CTV

Will tomorrow night mark the long-awaited return of Dr. Doug Ross to ER? The count down to the final four episodes is on, and ER fans are holding their breath to find out if the Oscar® and Golden Globe Award-winning George Clooney will once again sport a lab coat before the series wraps in the much-anticipated two-hour series finale on April 2.

Rumours are rampant that the ER alum, and now mega-watt Hollywood heavyweight will appear in tomorrow night’s, Thursday, March 12, ER episode at 10 p.m. ET on CTV (visit CTV.ca to confirm local listings).

Already confirmed to appear in tomorrow’s ER episode, “Old Times”, is Emmy® Award-Winner Julianna Marguiles (nurse Carol Hathaway), whose on-screen relationship with Clooney has been called one of TV’s greatest couples. Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actors Eriq La Salle (Dr. Peter Benton) and Noah Wyle (Dr. John Carter) guest-star as well. But the big question is, will Clooney scrub in for the finale season?

Giving fans hope are reports that Clooney shot Thursday’s episode over two days with fellow alum Marguiles. And last month executive producer John Wells confirmed the reunion to People. “I want their story to be very fulfilling in the end,” Wells said. “If you are a fan of ER, you won’t want to miss this one.”
