Neela (Parminder Nagra) and Sam (Linda Cardellini) are shocked when they arrive back to the airport with transplant organs only to find that their plane has left them. Dr. Carter (guest star Noah Wyle) gets a surprise visit from an old friend (guest star and ER alum Eriq La Salle) while waiting for his kidney transplant. Dr. Banfield (Angela Bassett) bonds with an abandoned baby boy that is left at the ER. John Wells recently told People that George Clooney and co-star Julianna Margulies will reunite in this episode. “I want their story to be very fulfilling in the end,” he said. “If you are a fan of ER, you won’t want to miss this one.”

Thursday, March 12 9 p.m.

After learning at a deposition that more of his patients have died than survived, Derek (Patrick Dempsey) decides to quit, even as Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) refuses to give up on him. Meanwhile Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and the Chief (James Pickens Jr. ) continue to bicker over her peds fellowship, until Adele (Loretta Devine) steps in to mediate. And Izzie’s (Katherine Heigl) interns discover something unsettling on a “patient x,” unaware that the charts they’re looking at are actually Izzie’s.

A lethal pipe-bomb blows a Manhattan townhouse and valuable evidence to pieces, forcing the CSIs to get creative in reconstructing the damaged clues that ultimately lead to the bomber.

Pediatrician Gilbert Keppler (Guest Star Lawrence Arancio, THE PRACTICE) is found guilty of sexually assaulting four of his male patients. After his trial, Keppler sues the NYPD and the Denslow Medical Center on the grounds that they knew he was sexually abusing patients long before they took action to stop him. Detectives Elliot Stabler (Chris Meloni) and Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) decide to go directly to Keppler for questioning only to find him murdered in his apartment. To the detectives’ surprise, ADA Alexandra Cabot (guest star Stephanie March) shows up at the crime scene, after three years in the witness protection program.

The Top 12 finalists take the AMERICAN IDOL stage for the first time to perform LIVE for the nation. The finalists will sing their hearts out in hopes of winning America’s vote and surviving another week in the competition. Tune in to see who impresses the judges and who buckles under the pressure.

Wanda’s (Nancy Robertson) new way of getting around town brings a European flair to Dog River, much to Brent’s (Brent Butt) inconvenience. Lacey (Gabrielle Miller) tricks Karen (Tara Spencer-Nairn) and Davis (Lorne Cardinal) into helping her move. Meanwhile, Hank’s (Fred Ewanuick) new greeting puts him in an awkward situation with Emma (Janet Wright) and annoys Oscar (Eric Peterson).
