Mia Lorimer (guest star Clea Duvall, HEROES) claims to have been raped by her husband, Brett Lorimer (guest star Nathaniel Marston, ONE LIFE TO LIVE). But even after Brett is arrested and makes bail, Mia returns to her husband and drops all charges, to Detective Benson’s dismay. Devoted to Mia’s safety, Benson hides in the secret stairway of the Lorimer household, leading her to come across another case of spousal abuse and murder.

Jack and Samantha travel to Los Angeles to follow the trail of a man who disappears after attending a funeral. Through investigations on both coasts, the case takes a turn when the agents discover the true reason for the missing man’s west coast trip.
