Toronto, ON (November 28, 2008) – CTV’s specialty stations unite on World AIDS Day for an evening of Hitchcock inspired high-fashion and philanthropy with FASHIONTELEVISION’s extensive coverage of the 22nd Annual Fashion sCares gala. FASHIONTELEVISION PRESENTS: FASHION SCARES debuts Monday, December 1 at 6 p.m. ET on FashionTelevisionChannel and Star! and 8 p.m. ET on MuchMoreMusic.

Continuing a tradition of more than 20 years in support of HIV/AIDS awareness, FASHIONTELEVISION (FT) returns with exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage of one of Canada’s largest and most spectacular galas – Fashion Cares. And with CTV as broadcast sponsor, only FT cameras deliver unprecedented access to this year’s extravaganza. Held earlier this month at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, FT puts viewers on the guest list, with this one hour special report.

Helmed by Fashion sCares Honourary Chair and FT Host Jeanne Beker, FASHIONTELEVISION PRESENTS: FASHION SCARES features all the evening’s highlights including thrilling performances from The National Ballet of Canada, Dame Shirley Bassey, Fritz Helder & The Phantoms, Katy Perry, and Kreesha Turner. From red carpet arrivals, to backstage interviews and afterparty shenanigans, experience an evening of glam, generosity, and ghouls. David Furnish and Yasmin Warsame host the Hitchcock-themed costume party that raises funds for the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT).
