Tune in to the heartfelt drama that focuses on the relationships between families and friends and how they deal with an unexpected teen pregnancy. “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” premieres Wednesday, September 3rd on Citytv.

Wholesome 15 year-old Amy Juergens’ world is turned upside down when she finds out that she’s pregnant following a brief indiscretion with a fellow classmate and musician while at ‘band camp’. Not sure where to turn Amy confides in her best friends Lauren and Madison but her lips remain sealed when it comes to the father’s identity. Before Amy has a chance to break the news to her family that their “good girl” is not so good, Ben, an admirer from school, asks her out and proves to be a good distraction from her current situation. Amy is forced to balance her family, friends, new relationships and being pregnant all the while trying to maintain her own sanity.
