Grey’s Anatomy is Canada’s Most-Watched Drama in 2007/2008

With 2.6 million viewers scrubbing in for Grey’s Anatomy’s season finale last Thursday, the series has ended the 2007/2008 broadcast season as Canada’s most-watched series overall among key demos and Canada’s #1 drama series among total viewers. With an average audience of 2.5 million viewers this season, Grey’s Anatomy follows only American Idol among total viewers, making it the #1 drama in the country and leading House (Global, 2.17 million) by nearly 15%. Grey’s Anatomy takes over bragging rights from last season’s most-watched drama in Canada, CSI.

Among A25-54, A18-49 and A18-34, Grey’s Anatomy is the champion of the 2007/2008 television season overall, drawing more viewers than any other program on television, including House. Grey’s Anatomy leads House by 9.5% among A25-54; 10.4% among A18-49 and 20.5% among A18-34.

Grey’s Anatomy also delivers more viewers than House in Toronto in total viewers and key demos as well as in Vancouver in total viewers and A18-49 and A18-34.
