Dawn Budge (guest star Rosie O’Donnell), now a “Hearts ‘n’ Scalpels” producer, objects when the show is invited to participate in a gay pride parade. Meanwhile, Christian falls back into old habits. Sean, on the outs with Christian over Julia, hires Gina (guest star, Canadian Jessalyn Gilsig) as a receptionist to get back at him. Meanwhile, Matt’s disfigured rehabilitation counselor sees Sean when she experiences pain in her face, but her case proves to be more complicated than that.

When a teenaged girl is expelled for playing George Michael’s “I Want Your Sex” during an abstinence education assembly at school, the pop superstar (playing himself) retains Eli’s legal counsel on the girl’s behalf.

Last night, the Top 10 finalists sang their hearts out in hopes of winning America over. In tonight’s live episode, viewers learn who will return to sing next week. The contestant who received the fewest votes will be sent home.
