Tuesday, January 8
8 p.m. ET – FashionTelevision
Hosted by Jeanne Beker, this week’s episode of FashionTelevision takes you around the world in 30 minutes – showcasing Vera Wang’s Fall Collection from New York’s Fashion Week, before heading to Istanbul to shop the markets, cruise The Bosphorus Strait and rock with designer Luca Orlandi. Plus, meet John Galliano’s extended (and eccentric) fashion family before making a pit stop in Paris for a Gaultier collection fit for a prince and then landing in Miami for a behind the scenes chat with bikini designer Ashley Paige.

9:30 p.m. ET – Homes by Design – “Sustainable Architecture”
NEW EPISODE – Sustainability is taking root at the forefront of architects’ design philosophies. In today’s edition of Homes By Design, we take a look at The Currents, a ten-storey residential tower in Ottawa and home to the Great Canadian Theatre company and a house in the Laurentians that features many sustainable ideas and innovative living solutions by Engineer André Dupras. Next, we fly to Villa Bio in Barcelona for a lesson from Architect Enric-Ruiz Geli on how the use of glass and modern environmental controls can reduce the effect on the environment.

11 p.m. ET – eTalk – “Fashion”
NEW SPECIAL – Hollywood’s best dressed; the people who help them look that way and tips on how to copy those trends on budget! This special edition of eTalk includes an exclusive look at Hilary Duff’s video wardrobe, Canadian designers Dean and Dan Caten talk about dressing Fergie, Rihanna and Madonna, a chat with Sienna Miller and her sister about their new clothing line and a sneek peek at some of the costumes from the upcoming Sex And The City movie.

Wednesday, January 9
6 p.m. ET – Designer Marathon – “Oscar de la Renta”
NEW EPISODE – Oscar de la Renta is a name synonymous with elegance, glamour and chic sophistication. Over the course of his 40-year career, he managed to translate his name into a successful brand name now found on fragrances, furs and even home wares. His work is infused with the sensuality of his Dominican heritage, yet tempered with the appreciation for clean lines that he gained while apprenticing under Balenciaga. The first American to design for a French couture house, he has been honored on numerous occasions by the Council of Fashion Designers of America for his contribution to the fashion world. In this episode of Designer Marathon, see why he is considered one of the true gentlemen of couture.

Thursday, January 10
6 p.m. ET – Designer Marathon – “Louis Vuitton”
NEW EPISODE – The French-based house of Louis Vuitton has been creating luggage since 1854. Today, the brand has grown into an international symbol of luxury. Fashion Designer Marc Jacobs did an amazing job at elevating the accessory brand into a must-see show on the Paris fashion calendar that has even attracted a notable celebrity following. But he has been even more successful in revamping the label’s famous accessories line, collaborating on the bag design with contemporary artists such as Steven Sprouse, Takashi Murakami and Richard Prince. In this episode of Designer Marathon, go behind the man whose designs continue to be admired on the runway and see how he manages to consistently keep the Louis Vuitton label modern and more importantly…coveted.

Friday, January 11
8 p.m. ET – In Fashion
NEW EPISODE – Find out why Toronto is considered top among the worlds’ design capitals on the next In Fashion. Hosted by Glen Baxter, Architecture Digest Magazine comes to town to show us their picks of the city’s finest structures. Then we follow one of New York’s hottest club owners – Peter Gatien – as he unveils his latest 55,000 square foot mega club (Circa) in Toronto.

8:30 p.m. ET – Cover Stories – “Lords and Ladies”
While art director Bob Makinson and the rest of the Cover Stories team are shooting for both FQ and SIR Magazines, CEO and creative director Michael King is in talks with Sir Richard Branson’s people to get the billionaire on the cover of SIR. Meanwhile, the FQ team have again commissioned famed photographer Struan to shoot a feature in the Bahamas with model and interior designer India Hicks (Goddaughter to Prince Charles). With all of this on their plate the team is in for a real challenge to meet their deadlines – find out if they succeed.

CEO and Creative Director Michael King and the FQ team are off to the island of Anguilla for tropical paradise. King managed to get an invite to the ultra-exclusive St. Regis Temanos, which is a private five-star villa usually rented to the world’s rich and famous. Using this incredible backdrop as their canvas, the team only has two days to fit two really big photo shoots for FQ and SIR Magazine.

Tonight’s episode showcases Alexander Mcqueen’s tribute to the late Isabella Blow, the British magazine editor and international style icon credited with discovering Mcqueen.

Tuesday, January 22
8 p.m. ET – FashionTelevision
NEW EPISODE – FashionTelevision explores Miami’s world class art fair – Art Basel, known as a cultural and social highlight for the rich and famous. The sister event of Switzerland’s Art Basel, Miami’s adaptation combines an international selection from more than 200 leading art galleries from North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa who exhibit 20th and 21st century artworks by over 2,000 artists.

9 p.m. ET – RAW – “L.A.M.B. Spring/Summer 2008”
NEW EPISODE – After a two-year break from the runways, singer, songwriter, fashion designer and mother – Gwen Stefani returns to present her offerings for L.A.M.B. Spring/Summer 2008 on an all new RAW.

9:30 p.m. ET – Homes By Design – “Site Specific”
Architects are drawing people back to city centres by creating high-density residential space on previously industrial land. This week on Homes By Design we take a look at architect James Cheng’s Denia, which combines apartment living with townhomes, retail and green space to create a community for its residents in downtown Vancouver. Architect Peter Clewes’s Tip Top Lofts stayed true to its art deco heritage – the old downtown Toronto factory reinvented as high-density residential lofts are truly works of art. Plus, architect Andrew Beharrel’s Angel Waterside project has revitalized an old wharf in London, England.

Wednesday, January 23
9 p.m. ET – RAW – “FENDI – Great Wall of China Show”
NEW EPISODE – Groundbreaking and revolutionary, this episode of RAW delivers FENDI’s latest runway collections. With creative director Karl Lagerfeld at the helm, the Italian fashion house made fashion history with a show staged on the Great Wall of China!

Thursday, January 24
8:30 p.m. ET – Cover Stories – “The Emerald Isle”
The luck of the Irish is what the FQ team will need in order to get through their latest adventure. Michael King, Jeanne Beker and the rest of the FQ team are off to Ireland for a fashion photo shoot and a couple of news stories for the latest issue of FQ. The adventure promises to be special since the location they’ve chosen is an 800-year-old castle.

9 p.m. ET – RAW – “DSquared Spring/Summer 2008”
NEW EPISODE – Canadian twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten stay true to form with one of the sexiest catwalk shows for Spring 2008 with a special runway appearance by pop star Rihanna.

NEW EPISODE – She’s the daughter of former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney and has had a flair for designing clothes since the age of 12. Tonight on RAW, English fashion designer Stella McCartney showcases a new easy, breezy and beautiful collection for Spring 2008 and it’s one you won’t want to miss.
