Tuesday, December 18

9 – 9:30 p.m. ET/PT – The Simpsons – “Sideshow Bob’s Last Gleaming”

Sideshow Bob hates TV but his fellow convicts (including Rupert Murdoch) watch it constantly. When Vanessa Redgrave gets her own tasteless sitcom on FOX, Sideshow Bob takes matters into his own hands by escaping from prison, stealing a bomb and hiding out in a blimp. When he threatens to detonate the bomb over Springfield, the town gives in to his demand to cease production of all TV shows.

Wednesday, December 19

9 – 9:30 p.m. ET/PT – The Simpsons – “Marge Be Not Proud”

When Marge refuses to get Bart a violent video game, Bart tries to steal it but gets caught by a security guard who bans him for life from the store. Later, the security guard outs Bart as a shoplifter to Marge and Homer when the family returns to the store to have a family portrait taken. Marge blames herself for mothering Bart too much and gives him the silent treatment. To make amends, Bart decides to return to the store to have a picture taken of himself and gives it to Marge as a present.

Thursday, December 20 –

9 – 9:30 p.m. ET/PT – The Simpsons – “Miracle On Evergreen Terrace”

When Bart wakes up early on Christmas morning to play with his presents, he accidentally burns down the family’s Christmas tree and ruins all the gifts. To cover his tracks, he buries the evidence in the yard and tells the family that he saw a burglar stealing the presents and tree. Neighbours come by to give the Simpsons money after the family’s “misfortune” is reported on the news. But when the news crew discovers the torched remains in the Simpson’s yard, the town treats the Simpson family as pariahs and gets even by stealing everything they own.

Friday, December 21

9 – 9:30 p.m. ET/PT – The Simpsons – “The Last Temptation Of Krust”

When Krusty bombs at a charity comedy show with his old routine, he decides it’s time to throw in the towel and announce his retirement. At his press conference, Krusty addresses the crowd in a brutally honest way, which makes the reporters laugh and gives Krusty new confidence to continue his career as a comedian. His new stand-up routine is a hit and Krusty refuses to sell out like he did before, much to the delight of his fans in Springfield…until he agrees to promote a new sport-utility vehicle and loses his newfound fame.

Saturday, December 22

9 – 9:30 p.m. ET/PT – The Simpsons – “Grift Of The Magi”

When a private company buys the school, Lisa discovers that it’s a top toy company conducting research to design their hot new Christmas toy. Lisa and Bart go to investigate the company but are stymied by its security guard, Gary Coleman. However, the kids manage to find out that the new toy, Funzo, actually destroys all other toys, so Lisa, Bart and Homer burn all the Funzos in Springfield. When Christmas comes, Homer invites Gary Coleman over for dinner and it’s a wonderful Christmas, thanks to the Simpson family!

Sunday, December 23

9 – 9:30 p.m. ET/PT – The Simpsons – “Skinner’s Sense Of Snow”

The kids get snowed in at school after a freak snowstorm hits Springfield and begin to revolt against Principal Skinner. Skinner loses control of the school and ends up trapped in a bag. He sends a hamster out in the snow in an attempt to save himself. Meanwhile, Homer and Flanders go to save to the kids, but get stranded in a snow bank. Eventually they’re saved by Skinner’s hamster and they go on to save the kids.

Monday, December 24

9 – 9:30 p.m. ET/PT – The Simpsons – “Tis the 15th Season”

As Christmas approaches, Homer discovers the true meaning of the season after watching an animated version of A Christmas Carol on television. But Flanders finds it impossible to live as the second nicest guy in town.

Tuesday, December 25

9 – 9:30 p.m. ET/PT – The Simpsons – “Mr. Plow”

Homer buys a snowplow and starts a business as Mr. Plow. An incredibly snowy winter makes Homer a success and earns him a key to the city from Mayor Quimby. But when Barney sets up a rival plowing company as the Plow King, he steals all of Homer’s customers and Homer has no choice but to sabotage Barney’s business.

Wednesday, December 26

9 – 9:30 p.m. ET/PT – The Simpsons – “She Of Little Faith”

When Mr. Burns rebuilds the town church and runs it like a business, Lisa leaves the congregation in search of a new place to worship. She visits a Buddhist temple, where she is schooled in Buddhism by Richard Gere. Lisa converts to Buddhism and her family tries to use Christmas as a means to bring her back to Christianity.
