“THE FRATERNITY” – Friday, November 2nd

Starring: Robin Dunne, Treat Williams, Gordon Currie
Alex (Dunne) is a young college student about to be inducted into one of the most prestigious fraternities at Runice Academy. Despite his reservations about the fraternity head Spencer, Alex joins the group, but when a brother turns up dead, the school becomes rife with suspicion, paranoia and fear. Alex must find out the truth about his brethren before someone else turns up dies.

Emmy Award winning actor, Billy Crystal writes and stars in this hilarious comedy about celebrity, family and other forms of insanity! Despite their nasty break up, Hollywood’s favourite couple Gwen (Zeta Jones) and Eddie (Cusack) have to promote a movie in which they co-starred. The studio publicist (Crystal) scrambles to keep a lid on the escalating situation at a press junket and to make his day even worse, the movie has been hijacked by its eccentric director.

During his investigation into the suicide death of Dr. Alfred Lanning, Spooner uncovers evidence linking a robot to the crime, the same robot involved in Lanning’s most recent top secret project.

“THE LADYKILLERS” – Wednesday, November 7th

Starring: Tom Hanks, Marlon Wayans, Irma P Hall
A remake of the 1955 comedy of the same name, the story revolves around a Southern professor (Hanks) who puts together a group of thieves in order to rob a casino. As a cover up, the group rents a room in an old lady’s house and poses as a jazz band. After realizing that the sweet old lady has discovered their evil plan the thieves decide to kill her, a task that is proves more difficult than it seems.

“LADDER 49”- Wednesday, November 7th

Starring: John Travolta, Joaquin Phoenix
Under the watchful eye of his mentor Captain Mike Kennedy (Travolta), probationary firefighter Jack Morrison (Phoenix) matures into a seasoned veteran at a Baltimore fire station. The sacrifices Jack has made have put him in harm’s way numerous times and has had a significant impact on his relationship with his wife and kids. Responding to the worst blaze in his career, he becomes trapped inside a twenty-story building and as he reflects on his life, Kennedy frantically coordinates the effort to save him.

After the Earth is destroyed by an invading alien race a tiny number of surviving humans are forced to roam the universe. Prior to the final destruction of the planet, Cale (Damon) was given a map guiding him to a space station called Titan, secretly constructed in the event of an alien Armageddon. With the help of his friend Korso (Pullman) and the beautiful Akima (Barrymore) Cale sets out in search of Titan before the Aliens can destroy it too.

“THE INCREDIBLE MRS. RITCHIE”- Friday, November 9th

Starring: Kevin Zegers, Gena Rowlands, James Caan
Mrs. Ritchie (Rowlands), a quirky widow, befriends a troubled teenager, Charlie (Zegers), after he is caught stealing her purse. Refusing to turn in his accomplices Charlie faces his punishment which finds him working for the eccentric Mrs. Ritchie until his debt is repaid. With the added help of Charlie’s high school principal (Caan) Mrs. Ritchie teaches the confused youngster some very valuable lessons about life and love.

Derek Zoolander (Stiller) has spent his life being professionally good looking until he is beaten at his own game by up and coming male model, Hansel (Wilson). Just as Derek toys with the idea of retirement he is persuaded by fashion designer Mugatu (Ferrell) to lead his highly anticipated runway show. In preparation, Derek is unknowingly brainwashed by Mugatu into killing the Prime Minister of Malaysia who plans to end child labour in the fashion industry. Along the way, he befriends his former rival, Hansel, and Matilda (Taylor), a reporter who defamed him and the unlikely trio turns the modelling industry on its head as they race against the clock to put an end to the evil Mugatu’s plan.

Ethan Powell, a noted anthropologist leaves traditional society behind to live with and study mountain gorillas in Rwanda. When several of the gorillas are killed, Powell flies into a murderous rage, killing two of the men who attacked his friends. Extradited to the U.S., Ethan is sent to a grim maximum-security prison where a psychological evaluation must be performed. The file is given to Theo Caulder, an ambitious young psychiatrist who sees this case has the potential to make his career. At first Ethan won’t speak to anyone, but Theo slowly builds a rapport with him and realizes what Powell can teach him about his experiences and humanity.

To make matters worse, Gavin accidentally drops important papers he needs to present in court and when he arrives without them, the judge gives him until the end of the day to find them.
