Amy Winehouse performing at MTV Europe Music Awards 2007

MTV Networks just announced that they have added Amy Winehouse to this year’s line-up of performers at the “MTV Europe Music Awards 2007” happening TOMORROW at Munich’s OlympiaHalle. The EMAs are available to Canadians on television and online: the prime-time broadcast airs on MuchMusic, Thursday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. ET AND to see it live fans should go to MTV.ca at 4 p.m. ET.

This addition to the existing line-up means that Amy Winehouse makes her MTV premiere performance alongside Avril Lavigne, Babyshambles, Foo Fighters, Mika, My Chemical Romance, Nicole Scherzinger, Tokio Hotel and will.i.am at the EMAs hosted by Snoop Dogg.

One of the UK’s most celebrated talents, Amy has dramatically raised the bar for female solo artists in the UK with her second album Back To Black released in 2007. Renowned for her heartfelt performances, Amy never fails to impress and is bound to give a show stopping performance. Her album ‘Back To Black’ debuted at No.1 in the UK and has remained a fixture of the Billboard Top Albums charts in the US since its release on March 13 2007. The hottest single on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart most of the summer was “Rehab” which scorched its way up the top ten, nailing the No. 1 spot on the Billboard R&B singles chart.
