Santa Claus Parade 2007

On Sunday, November 18 – 4pm ET tune in for full coverage of the Parade’s 103rd Edition, direct from Toronto. Co-hosts Susan Hay and Leslie Roberts return to welcome fans and provide colour commentary throughout one of the season’s most cherished celebration.

“For the 23rd consecutive year, Global Television is proud to return as the Parade’s Official Broadcaster, and bring all the excitement of the Holiday season to generations of loyal fans nationwide,” said Christine Shipton, Vice President, Original Programming for CanWest MediaWorks. “We’re delighted that we can share this annual event with all of Canada, and mark the start of the Holiday season in festive style.”

Starting from Bloor and Christie Streets on Toronto’s West side, and completing its Eastbound run at the corner of Front and Church, the Parade will feature all the old favourites – including the much loved Mother Goose Float, and crowd pleasers, the ‘Upside-Down Clowns’ – along with a dazzling medley of all-new floats featuring brand new themes. Filling the streets to capacity, the Parade brings out an estimated hundreds of thousands of spectators every year, far and away the city’s single-most attended event.

Global’s complete Parade broadcast will be available to viewers online at starting Monday, November 19th through to New Year’s Day.

The Santa Claus Parade is seen across the world by millions of viewers in Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Norway through the “Operation Santa Network”.
