It was the ultimate face off as all the couples went head to head for the first time. There was triumph as two clear leaders split from the pack. And there was disaster as others failed to keep up the pace.

You’ve seen them side by side. You’ve cast your votes. And tonight, someone will get the shock of their lives.

This is the dancing with the stars elimination recap!

The quote of the night last night had to be “You look like superman but dance like Clark Kent” to Cameron & Edyta.

The judges want to see an encore of Helio & Julianne who dance their mambo once again to Various Artists - Swinging 50's and 60's, Pt. 1 - Mambo Italiano Mambo Italiano.

The rankings from last nights show are:

11th Wayne and Cheryl 15/30
10th Mark and Kym 18/30
5th Albert and Anna 21/30
5th Jennie & Derek 21/30
5th Cameron & Edyta 21/30
5th Floyd & Karina 21/30
5th Jane & Tony 21/30
4th Mel & Maks 23/30
3rd Marie & Johnathan 24/30
2nd Sabrina & Mark 26/30
1st Helio & Julianne 27/30

Jane Seymour isn’t there tonight as her mother passed away overnight and she has gone to England to be with her family. After the votes were tallied, Jane and Tony were safe and Jane has decided to continue on in the show as a tribute to her mother who was a big fan of the British version of the show, Strictly Come Dancing. Jane and Tony are the first couple safe and through to next week’s show. The next couple who are safe are Helio and Julianne.

Queen Latifa performs her latest single, the Frank Sinatra classic Queen Latifah - Trav'lin' Light - I'm Gonna Live Till I Die I’m Gonna Live Till I Die.

The next two couples through to next week are Mel & Maks and Sabrina & Mark.

Jimmy Kimble shows us that the it is in fact The Count from Seasame Street who tabulates all the votes.

The next couple to be saved and through to next week are Mark & Kym. Mark is absolutely stoked.

Queen Latifa is back to sing Queen Latifah - The Dana Owens Album - California Dreamin' Califormia Dreamin’.

The next two couples that are safe are Marie & Johnny and Floyd & Karina.

From the four couples remaining, two are safe and two are in the bottom two. Jennie & Derek are Safe. Wayne & Cheryl are in the bottom two. Cameron & Edyta are safe meaning Albert & Anna are in the bottom two.

The judges are surprized to see Albert & Anna in the bottom two.

Leaving the show this week with the lowest combined total is Albert & Anna. That’s a bit of a shock.

6. Big Shots (909,000)

For the second night in a row, CTV won every hour in primetime last night, ranking five out of the Top 6 shows on one of television’s most competitive nights:

At 7 p.m., an out of simulcast episode of ER on CTV was up 11% versus last week with 1.007 million viewers, besting Hockey Night in Canada’s Leafs/Sens game (CBC – 641,000) by 57% in the comparable hour. Note: Wednesday’s NHL on TSN game, featuring the first game of the Leafs/Sens home-and-home series, delivered 41% more viewers than Thursday’s HNIC with an audience of 1.2 million on TSN.

Also out of simulcast at 8 p.m., CSI was watched by 2.39 million viewers on CTV to win the hour. Courtney and Amanda think John Robert is creepy. He wants then to sleep next to him in the shelter to keep him warm by Courtney says she only weighs 7 pounds and struggles to keep herself warm. They really don’t like how he clambers into the shelter between them.

In the morning they catch a crab in their net and then all the guys, who are obviously hungry, are grumpy due to having no food in their stomachs.

At Zhan Hu, Dave is working but the others want him to conserve his energy because they don’t want to lose another task. Frosti thinks Dave needs to just chill out, as does Peih Gee.

The reward challenge is another physical confrontation. It’s a hand to hand battle to throw their opponents into the water. And the reward is comfort. Pillows and blankets and a tarp.

The first round is women on women. The Zhan Hu girls take the point without one of them getting thrown in the water. The guys take their turn and James is the last man standing taking the score to 1-1. Jamie and Peih Gee survive to take Zhan Hu to a 2-1 lead. James is the last man standing again taking it to 2-2. The girls have their final battle and the girls take it for Zhan Hu to give them their inaugural victory in Survivor China. As winners of the challenge they get to kidnap someone from Fei Long. They choose Leslie to come across and bring the scroll with her.

Leslie talks to the group and seems to fit in with the group a bit better.

At Fei Long, John Robert and James are talking strategy but Courtney and Todd are closeby and can hear them and aren’t impressed. Todd thinks that John Robert and James are the trash in camp and it’s time to take it out.

At Zhan Hu, Leslie reads the scroll and decides to give the clue to Jamie. The scroll contains the first clue from last week and a second clue which reads:

Waste no more time in searching the ground
Look towards the heavens for what would be found

The immunity challenge involves chopping through a wooden pole and rope to collect some round puzzle pieces. Once they have all the pieces they need to assemble them on a puzzle rod which is on a large stone base. Once the puzzle is completed they then have to drag it across the playing area and the finish line.

Courtney takes forever to chop through her ropes and by the time she gets her bundle of puzzle pieces, Zhan Hu have almost completed the puzzle. It’s a white wash to Zhan Hu which means Fei Long are off to Tribal Council for the first time.

At Fei Long, there are discussions about trying to get rid of John Robert. Aaron wants to get rid of Leslie though. Todd doesn’t want to be up against the big guys at the end of it but doesn’t want to lose them all at this point. John Robert is wanting to get rid of either Leslie or Courtney as they’re the weakest players in the game.

At Tribal council, Courtney says she feels like a chihuahua in a horse race. At the vote, Leslie is sent on her way after receiving votes that had “Moma” and “Sister Christian” written on them. The final vote was 6-2.

Isn’t it funny to see the Cavemen in the audience? Especially as it premieres tonight.

Tomorrow night the results and a performance from Queen Latifah Queen Latifa.

Two huge nights in the ballroom. The women launched an opening night attack. Then last night, the men answered that challenge in style in one of the most entertaining shows in the history of Dancing with the Stars. Tonight, the dance duel will be decided. Who will be the first to fall?

The judges thought that this was by far the best start to any season. The want to see Sabrina and Mark’s Cha Cha Cha again so they take to the floor as The Pussycat Dolls - PCD - Don't Cha Don’t Cha plays and they burn it up.

The rankings after the judges totals are as follows:

12th Josie & Alec 16/30
11th Floyd & Karina 18/30
10th Wayne & Cheryl 19/30
5th Jennie & Derek 21/30
5th Marie & Jonathan 21/30
5th Cameron & Edyta 21/30
5th Albert & Anna 21/30
5th Mark & Kym 21/30
3rd Mel B & Maks 24/30
3rd Jane & Tony 24/30
2nd Helio & Julianne 25/30

The first two couples that are saved is Sabrina and Mark. The second couple that are safe is Jennie and Derek.

The first lady of country, Dolly Parton, is here tonight to perform. She sings Dolly Parton - Dolly Parton: Greatest Hits - 9 to 5 9 to 5.

Got to love the segment, The Origins of Dance with Kenny Mayne, where Kenny asks one of the cast from Cavemen if neanderthals created dance.

The next couple safe are Mel B and Maks and joining them is Cameron and Edyta.

Jane & Tony are then told they’re safe. Wayne & Cheryl are also safe. Marie and Josie are safe leaving Josie and Alec with the lowest combined total from the women.

From the men, Floyd and Karina are safe leaving Mark & Kym with the lowest combined total on Tuesday.
