Calling all Corpses: Lucky CTV Viewer to Play Dead on CSI; CTV’s “CSI Miniature Killer Contest”

Calling all Corpses: Lucky CTV Viewer to Play Dead on CSI; CTV’s “CSI Miniature Killer Contest” Launches April 26
Thursdays 9:00 PM

One CTV viewer will get the chance to play a corpse on the hit series CSI next season after winning the “CSI Miniature Killer Contest,” launching tomorrow, Thursday, April 26 on CTV. The contest will see one CSI fan win a “to die for,” “lie-down role” on the series next season as well as a trip for two to L.A. and a complete tour of the CSI set (see “Contest Details,” below).

The “CSI Miniature Killer Contest” is inspired by the provocative “miniature killer” storyline that continues to heat up on CSI through May on CTV. In upcoming CSI episodes, Grissom, Willows and the rest of the Crime Lab Technicians continue to search for clues to catch an elusive criminal, nicknamed the “miniature killer.” Not only has the murderer been terrorizing Las Vegas by committing carefully orchestrated crimes, but he or she has been taunting the CSI team by creating, and then delivering, freakishly exact miniature replicas of the crime scenes.

Contest Details:
•The contest launches during a new CSI episode this Thursday, April 26 on CTV.
•All Canadian viewers have to do is “see the doll and make the call” to be entered into the contest.
•As soon as a doll icon pops up on the screen during the CSI broadcast on CTV, call toll-free to 1-866-4730-CSI or visit to enter.
•Callers and web surfers will then hear a message related to the “miniature killer” followed by entry details.
•Phone lines and the online entry page will open each Thursday: April 26, May 3 and May 10 during broadcasts of CSI on CTV. The phone lines and online entry page will remain open until 12 noon ET on the next day.

The “CSI Miniature Killer Contest” launches on the heels of CTV’s exclusive Criminal Minds: The Usual Suspects contest, an interactive online game where CTV viewers have the chance to win a $10,000 grand prize.

In this week’s all-new episode of CSI entitled “Ending Happy,” premiering Thursday, April 26 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV, the “miniature killer” cases remains unsolved. With four victims and four perfect crimes … the question remains, who will be next?

In addition, in their attempt to identify the murderer of a has-been boxer, who lived among a group of prostitutes who detested him, the CSIs must establish which of several life-threatening acts against him in one night actually killed him.

Airing Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET (check local listings) on CTV, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation follows six Las Vegas crime scene officers led by the enigmatic Gil Grissom. It is currently Canada’s second most-watched series following American Idol and is joined on the CTV schedule by successful spin-offs CSI: Miami and CSI: New York.
